Information We Collect

When you browse our store, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including browser type, IP address, time zone, and some cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse, we collect information about the individual pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the store, and information about how you interact with the store.

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (Stripe processes all payment data — we never store your full card number), email address, and phone number.

How We Use Your Information

We use the order information we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the store (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with order confirmations). Additionally, we use this order information to:

• Screen for potential risk or fraud
• Provide you with product updates and promotional communications, where you have consented to receive them

Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. VelvetAge does not store your credit or debit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

When you complete a purchase, Stripe may collect information required to process your payment per their services. Please review Stripe's privacy practices directly.

Meta Pixel & Advertising

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising platform) on our website. This tool collects data that helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand customer behavior, and deliver targeted ads.

Meta Pixel collects information including the pages you visit, purchases made, and general device/browser information. This data may be associated with your Meta account if you are logged in to Meta services.

Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your shopping cart and understand how you use our site. Key cookies we use:

• velvetage_cart — stores your shopping cart items, signed with HMAC for tamper protection. Does not store personal data.
• polsia_vid — anonymous analytics visitor identifier.
• _ga, _gid — Google Analytics cookies for site traffic analysis.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality including the shopping cart.

Email Marketing

If you opt in to our email list, we will send you occasional product updates, promotions, and brand news. We use your email address for this purpose only and do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at velvetage@polsia.app to be removed at any time.

Data Retention

We retain your order and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (such as tax records).

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to certain processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time.
